a valley.
Before the cottages. Before the pools. Before the cricket ground and the Zen garden there was just this land. 25 acres of quiet, clean, green land in Palghar, sitting between the hills, with nothing around it but trees and sky.
We did not build Kamare Valley to be a resort. We built it because we believed people from the city need a real place to come back to.

one clear purpose.
Kamare Valley is a nature resort in Palghar, Maharashtra about 90km north of Mumbai on the Western Railway line. We sit on 25 acres of private land, right where the green hills of eastern Palghar meet open sky. The mountains are visible from the property. The Kamare Dam is close by. Over 10,000 native trees grow here.
That is still what we are trying to do, every single day. We have added more cottages, more activities, and better facilities over the years but the reason we exist has never changed.
More than 30,000 guests have stayed with us since we opened. They come from Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, and towns all across Maharashtra & Gujrat. Some bring young children for the first time. Some bring their elderly parents for a quiet escape. Some bring 40 colleagues for a company outing. Many come back every year.

Most resorts use the word "spacious" loosely. Here, 25 acres means your children can run and you will not see them for an hour. It means every cottage has a view. It means no one is on top of anyone else.

The Air is Actually Clean
Our AQI is around 12. Mumbai is regularly above 150. The eastern side of Palghar district sits between the hills, away from industry. Guests notice the difference the moment they step outside their car.
The Food is Fresh and Real
We cook every meal fresh no frozen food, no reheated hotel catering. Guests get a full meal cycle: lunch, evening tea and snacks, BBQ, dinner, and breakfast the next morning. Unlimited servings.

At most resorts, "spacious" means a larger room. Here it means a full cricket ground, two pools, multiple sports courts, gardens, and walking paths all spread across 25 actual acres of land.

A 3-year-old in the puddle pool. A 70-year-old in the Meditation Garden. A team of 60 at the conference hall. We have thought about all of them, and we have a good answer for all of them.
We Welcome Pets
Guests who travel with dogs do not have to leave them at home. We have pet-friendly rooms, and plenty of open ground for them to run. Just let us know when you book.

Full day from 9am to 5:30pm. Breakfast, lunch, tea, all activities, and a gazebo for groups of 8 or more.

Meals at Kamare Valley are not an afterthought. We cook everything fresh. No frozen food coming in. No reheated hotel buffet. Every guest gets a full meal cycle included in their stay and every item is made in our own kitchen.
The food is mildly spiced to work for families and children. If you have dietary needs, let our team know 24 hours in advance and we will sort it out.
Children 6 years and below are included in meals at no extra charge. Welcome drinks are served on arrival.

Kamare Valley is in Palghar, Maharashtra a district that sits between the Arabian Sea coast and the green hills of eastern Maharashtra. The area is quiet, clean, and largely undeveloped, which is exactly why the air and the landscape feel so different from city life.
Getting here is easy. By road it is about 90 minutes from Mumbai via the Western Express Highway. By train, take any Western Railway train to Palghar Station the resort is 15 to 20 minutes away by auto or taxi from there.
